Good Relations Small Grants Scheme
Newry and Mourne District Council

Mayor of Newry and Mourne Council, Councillor John Feehan welcomed local community groups and organisations from across the district into Council Chambers to mark the Good Relations Small Grants Scheme 2009 /2010.
The Good Relations Small Grants scheme which is run by the Good Relations section of the Equality Unit is made possible by funding received from the Community Relations Unit of The Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister. The Scheme is 75% funded by OFMDFM with the remaining 25% is funded by Newry and Mourne Council.

Congratulating the groups and organisations on their success Mayor of Newry and Mourne Council, Councillor John Feehan said, ‘it is wonderful to see so many groups applying to run so many diverse projects. It is really great that the Council is in a position to run this small grants scheme and I am delighted to see how well the funding will be used to promote diversity and integration across our district.’
